Position Summary

• Client is seeking an experienced Azure Developer to design, develop, and support cloud-native solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• This role will be responsible for building scalable integrations, APIs, automation, and data solutions that support global business operations across supply chain, manufacturing, HR, finance, and consumer product functions.
• The ideal candidate will have strong Azure development expertise, experience integrating enterprise applications such as SAP, and a passion for delivering secure, high-performing cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and services using Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and serverless solutions using Azure Functions and Azure App Services.
• Develop and support integrations between Azure and enterprise systems including SAP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and other business applications.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop event-driven architectures utilizing Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Logic Apps.
• Design and implement scalable data solutions leveraging Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Storage.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to security, governance, and compliance standards across Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
• Develop technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Required Qualifications

Strong proficiency in:

• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB).
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and Azure security concepts.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating Azure solutions with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, or other ERP platforms.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and enterprise data integration.
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep).
• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Azure certifications such as:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Experience supporting global or manufacturing organizations.
