The teams building them need coders who can create realistic, difficult coding cases, judge AI-generated documentation and coding outputs, produce the coding decisions a professional would make, and explain exactly where the AI falls short. What you’ll do
• Review inpatient records and AI-generated clinical documentation for coding accuracy and completeness
• Assign and sequence principal and secondary diagnoses using Official Guidelines
• Assign Present on Admission indicators and validate MS-DRG assignments
• Explain diagnosis and procedure coding discrepancies in clear written feedback

Who this is for
• An active CIC, CCS, RHIA, RHIT, COC, or another relevant AHIMA or AAPC coding certification
• Practical inpatient ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding experience
• Careful analysis of complex records and clear written communication of coding findings
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.

• $50–$70 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
