Job Description
• $140–$400 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the judgment you already use in practice.
The AI systems changing how legal work gets done are trained and tested by practicing attorneys. The teams building them need litigation and transactional lawyers who can create realistic legal scenarios, assess the AI’s responses, write the answer a lawyer would give, and explain exactly where the reasoning or drafting falls short. Your judgment becomes part of how the next generation of legal AI handles contracts, disputes and other high-stakes work. This is that work, done remotely, around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Create structured legal examples from complex litigation materials, transactional documents and realistic legal scenarios
• Review the AI’s analysis of legal issues and provide clear, structured commentary on its reasoning
• Write sample agreements and legal clauses in the form a practicing attorney would use for the matter
• Refine legal review frameworks and decision rubrics through detailed feedback
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $140–$400 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most litigation and transactional attorneys will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal practice, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• JD from a US law school
• Active US bar admission in good standing
• Professional fluency in English; experience at an AmLaw 100 or a similarly prestigious law firm handling litigation and complex transactional matters, including such areas as M&A, private equity, capital markets, contract drafting or data privacy
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $140–$400 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
