Job Description
• $150–$300 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the federal litigation judgment you already have.
The AI systems being built for real legal work are trained and tested by practicing attorneys. The teams building them need federal litigators who can create realistic motion and briefing scenarios, judge how well the AI handles them, write the answer a professional would give, and explain where its legal reasoning or case-law analysis falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of legal AI systems. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Complete simulated motion-drafting and briefing exercises for federal civil litigation
• Judge AI answers to litigation scenarios by checking the strength of the argument, legal analysis, and precision
• Build objective ways to evaluate litigation tasks and set grading criteria
• Use your legal judgment to assess AI-generated arguments, case-law analysis, and draft motions consistently
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $150–$300 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most federal litigation attorneys will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping federal litigation, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• Have substantial experience handling civil litigation in federal court
• Bring strong experience with federal motions, briefing, and case strategy
• Show a documented record of winning at least three motions in federal civil litigation
• No experience in AI training work needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $150–$300 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
