• We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Developer / Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Salesforce development, Data Cloud implementation, and enterprise data integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data Cloud solutions, integrating Salesforce with external systems and cloud-based data platforms, and developing scalable solutions using Apex, APIs, and modern integration technologies.
• The candidate should have a strong understanding of customer data unification, identity resolution, data modeling, segmentation, calculated insights, and activation to support customer 360 initiatives and personalized customer experiences.
• Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement Salesforce Data Cloud solutions to unify customer data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Configure and manage Data Lake Objects (DLOs), Data Model Objects (DMOs), data streams, data mappings, and data transformations.
• Implement identity resolution rulesets to match, reconcile, and unify customer profiles across disparate data sources.
• Develop and manage calculated insights, segmentation strategies, and activation workflows to support marketing, sales, and customer engagement use cases.
• Design and develop Salesforce customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), triggers, asynchronous Apex, and declarative tools as required.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce, Data Cloud, enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and external applications.
• Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs and implement secure, scalable integration patterns using Salesforce APIs, platform events, and middleware where appropriate.
• Integrate Salesforce with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and other enterprise data management solutions.
• Configure and optimize data ingestion, transformation, harmonization, and synchronization processes between Salesforce Data Cloud and connected platforms.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, business analysts, and marketing teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, data quality problems, identity resolution mismatches, and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement security, access controls, monitoring, testing, and deployment best practices across Salesforce and Data Cloud environments.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, data mappings, and implementation guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, system integration testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, data modeling, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation.
• Strong experience with Salesforce development using Apex, triggers, asynchronous processing, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL.
• Proven experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JSON, authentication mechanisms, and enterprise system integrations.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Strong understanding of Data Lake Objects (DLOs), Data Model Objects (DMOs), calculated insights, segmentation, and activation targets.
• Experience with customer data unification, data harmonization, profile reconciliation, and Customer 360 implementations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce integration tools and technologies, such as MuleSoft, middleware platforms, platform events, Change Data Capture, and Bulk APIs.
• Understanding of data architecture, data mapping, transformation logic, data quality, and large-scale data processing.
• Experience with Salesforce security, governor limits, debugging, automated testing, and deployment tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
