Job Overview

As an Entry-Level Life Insurance Agent, you’ll help individuals and families explore life insurance options and make informed coverage decisions. This paid role includes free education to help you build foundational insurance knowledge. You’ll connect with prospective clients, learn their needs, explain available options clearly, and support them through the application process. The position may involve outside sales, retail sales, telemarketing, and marketing activities.

Responsibilities

• Build client relationships through responsive customer service and clear, professional communication.
• Discuss life insurance products, identify client needs, and explain relevant coverage options.
• Support sales activities, including prospecting, negotiation, follow-up, and client communication.
• Maintain accurate records in a customer relationship management (CRM) system and assist with sales administration.
• Follow applicable insurance regulations and privacy requirements, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Skills

• Strong communication, customer service, analysis, and customer relationship-building skills; comfort with sales and negotiation.
• Interest in insurance sales and life insurance knowledge; health insurance knowledge, property and casualty insurance, commercial insurance, and benefits administration are helpful.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM systems; sales administration experience is a plus.
• Outside sales, retail sales, telemarketing, or marketing experience is useful but not required.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are welcome; knowledge of insurance regulation and HIPAA is an advantage.

Pay: $25,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
