Network Platform Engineer

Metric DCX is partnered with a fast-growing, privately held global cloud infrastructure company that runs 33 data center locations and serves enterprise and AI customers. They’re hiring a Network Platform Engineer to scale and harden the core platforms and services their network runs on.

What you’ll do

• Run NetBox as a high-availability production platform in Kubernetes, covering dev environments, upgrades and schema validation
• Build out DDoS protection: software updates, better mitigation logic and edge defenses at new data center sites
• Run core provisioning services, including DHCP, NTP and DNS
• Build telemetry pipelines, monitoring and alerting that catch network platform issues early

What you bring

• 3+ years running production Kubernetes clusters for network or infrastructure services
• Hands-on telemetry experience with Prometheus, Loki, Kafka and OpenTelemetry pipelines
• NetBox administration in high-availability environments, including tuning, backups and schema migrations
• A strong SRE background: automation, blameless post-mortems and on-call rotations
• Close collaboration with software engineering and infrastructure operations
