Licensed Psychologist (Japan, Bilingual English/Japanese) – Remote AI Evaluation Project

About the project

We’re looking for licensed psychologists based in Japan who specialize in adult populations to join an AI-focused project. You’ll evaluate the accuracy of an automated rating system for mental health content, applying your clinical expertise to help AI make better judgments. The work is fully remote and the schedule is flexible.

What you’ll do

You’ll review AI-generated ratings on adult mental health cases and identify where the system’s judgments diverge from expert clinical consensus. By classifying cases as False Positives or False Negatives, you’ll help pinpoint specific issues in the system’s labeling logic.

Responsibilities

• Review outputs on adult mental health cases and assess their clinical accuracy
• Identify and categorize False Positives and False Negatives
• Write clear, concise rationales for your decisions to support consensus building
• Log findings accurately in Google Sheets, following the project rubrics
• Take part in onboarding and training sessions, and track your time electronically

Requirements

• Currently residing in Japan
• Active licensure or credentials as a psychologist in Japan (e.g., Kōnin Shinrishi / Certified Public Psychologist or Rinshō Shinrishi / Clinical Psychologist), with no sanctions or pending legal actions
• Clinical experience with adult populations
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
• Strong Google Sheets skills (filtering, data entry, working with structured templates)
• Comfort with digital tools and AI platforms, plus a reliable internet connection
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
