Job Overview

As a Generative AI Video Technical Director / AI Film Pipeline Engineer, you’ll build and operate workflows that bring AI-assisted film and video projects from concept through post-production. You’ll combine creative judgment with hands-on technical proficiency across video production, filming, lighting, audio, and media editing tools. This is a paid position.

Position Overview

A privately funded entertainment startup is seeking an experienced Generative AI Video Technical Director or AI Film Pipeline Engineer to assist in developing high-quality cinematic content using advanced artificial intelligence technologies.

We are looking for a technically skilled, creative individual capable of developing and implementing efficient AI-assisted film production workflows.

The selected candidate will work directly with the company’s founder on an initial proof-of-concept project, with the possibility of a long-term working relationship.

Required Experience

Candidates should have demonstrated experience in:

• Generative AI video production and cinematic storytelling.
• Creating realistic human characters and maintaining visual consistency.
• AI-generated dialogue, facial expressions, and realistic movement.
• Character animation, lip synchronization, and voice integration.
• Producing consistent cinematic scenes across multiple camera angles.
• Integrating multiple AI platforms into an efficient production workflow.
• Video editing, compositing, and post-production.

Experience with Runway, Kling, Sora, Veo, ComfyUI, or comparable technologies is desirable.

Programming and workflow automation experience are additional advantages.

Initial Assignment

The selected individual will assist in developing a short cinematic proof of concept demonstrating realistic AI-generated characters, dialogue, movement, and visual consistency.

Project details will be disclosed only to selected candidates following execution of a confidentiality and non-use agreement.

Qualifications

We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate actual completed projects rather than simply familiarity with AI software.

Please provide:

• Examples of AI-generated cinematic projects you personally created.
• Examples demonstrating character consistency across multiple scenes.
• A description of the AI tools and production workflows you use.
• Your hourly rate or project-based compensation expectations.
• Your availability.

This is an opportunity to participate in the early development of a new entertainment production company.

The initial engagement will be limited in scope and compensated on a project basis. A continuing relationship may be available based on demonstrated technical ability and project results.

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10.0 per week
