Engineering Manager / Senior Engineering Manager – Python & AWS (Claims/Healthcare Domain)

Job Purpose Lead engineering teams in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality cloud applications using Python and AWS. Drive technical excellence, AI-assisted engineering adoption, software quality, and timely delivery. Mandatory Skills - Proven experience in technical leadership, team mentoring, and solution design. - Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, debugging, testing, refactoring, and code optimization. - Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, application security, and production deployments. Primary Skills - Strong proficiency in Python, REST APIs, and microservices. - Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native architecture. - Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, or equivalent. - Experience with code reviews, performance optimization, and engineering best practices. Good-to-Have Skills - Experience with Go (Golang). - Knowledge of cloud-native deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure automation. Roles and Responsibilities - Lead and mentor engineering teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality software delivery. - Review solution designs and guide the development of scalable backend applications using Python and AWS. - Drive AI-assisted engineering adoption to improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency. - Oversee code reviews, security, performance, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production deployments. - Manage delivery milestones, technical dependencies, risks, and resource utilization. - Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align solutions with business requirements. - Ensure production readiness, operational stability, and adherence to engineering standards and ISMS policies. - Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and continuous learning.
