Compensation: Competitive base pay + reimbursed travel expenses
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team, specializing in wound care services within long-term care facilities. This role requires travel to various facilities across Texas. All travel expenses will be fully reimbursed in addition to your base pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with wound care procedures under the supervision of licensed medical professionals
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and facility staff
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Medical Assistant Certification (MA or CMA) – required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in wound care or long-term care settings is a plus
