Job Description: We are seeking an exceptional Executive Ghostwriter to develop compelling thought leadership content for a high-profile CEO in the B2B SaaS and AI space. The ideal candidate is an experienced executive writer who combines exceptional storytelling, industry awareness, speed, and adaptability with a growth mindset and the ability to thrive under direct feedback.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Ghostwrite executive LinkedIn posts, representing approximately 70-80% of the workload, along with occasional long-form blog posts and thought leadership articles.
• Develop engaging, concise content that reflects the executive’s voice, perspective, and evolving business priorities.
• Monitor B2B SaaS, AI, and technology industry news to identify timely thought leadership opportunities.
• Connect emerging trends and current events to business growth, marketing, sales, and customer service.
• Create compelling LinkedIn posts with strong hooks, clear messaging, and engaging narrative flow.
• Turn around time-sensitive content quickly, sometimes within 1-2 hours.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative leadership to develop content strategies and accompanying visual concepts.
• Incorporate executive feedback quickly, independently, and without defensiveness.
• Fact-check all content and maintain exceptional accuracy, editorial quality, and attention to detail.
• Work asynchronously while remaining available on Slack during agreed-upon core business hours.

Minimum Requirements:

• 7-10+ years of professional writing experience, ideally within enterprise or publicly traded companies.
• Direct experience ghostwriting for CEOs or senior executives, preferably demanding leaders with high editorial standards.
• Strong B2B SaaS and AI industry knowledge, including an understanding of current market trends and industry disruption.
• Demonstrated experience writing executive LinkedIn thought leadership.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a strong foundation in long-form prose and editorial craft.
• Ability to simplify complex topics into engaging, accessible, jargon-free content.
• Excellent editorial judgment, research, and fact-checking skills.
• A growth mindset and proven ability to receive direct feedback, adapt quickly, and continuously improve.
• Strong ownership, initiative, urgency, and the ability to anticipate executive needs with minimal direction.
• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Availability to collaborate during agreed-upon core business hours and respond promptly to time-sensitive requests.
• Writing samples that demonstrate executive LinkedIn ghostwriting and long-form thought leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience ghostwriting for multiple CEOs at large or publicly traded technology companies.
• A portfolio featuring executive LinkedIn posts across different leadership voices.
• Specialized experience covering AI innovation, SaaS disruption, and emerging technology trends.
• Ability to develop creative concepts for supporting visuals.
• Familiarity with enterprise technology audiences and business growth strategies.
• Experience identifying trending industry topics and quickly turning them into compelling executive content.
• Freelance experience and the flexibility to accommodate occasional urgent requests.
