Power BI Migration Developer

Position Summary:

The Power BI Report Migration Developer is responsible for converting and modernizing a large portfolio of enterprise reports from Sigma and SSRS into Power BI. The role focuses on accurately reproducing legacy report outputs while improving underlying data models, query performance, and report usability. The developer will work across Snowflake and MSSQL data sources, creating and consuming data models, and ensuring parity with legacy reports through structured validation processes. This is a hands-on, execution-driven role operating within a Jira-based workflow and GitHub source-controlled environment.

What the responsibilities are of the right candidate:

• Convert a high volume of Sigma and SSRS reports into Power BI dashboards and paginated reports
• Develop and maintain Power BI datasets and models using Snowflake and MSSQL
• Validate Power BI reports against Sigma and SSRS outputs
• Optimize performance across Snowflake and MSSQL
• Work within Jira ticketing workflows and use GitHub for version control
