Mainframe Developer (FIS/Systematics)

This is a contract position. It is 100% remote.

What you will do in this role:

• Identifies, analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and maintains cost-effective information technology solutions that align with business initiatives and corporate strategies.
• Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, operating systems environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external controls, and output leading to documented system requirements
• Documents, diagrams, organizes, information for inclusion in database, developing input/output record layouts, or program views.
• Develops and maintains documentation describing program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
• Effectively collaborates with other Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) areas, team members, and management.
• Codes programs, prepares test data, tests, and debugs programs.
• Revises and refines programs to account for changes in functional system requirements and equipment configurations.
• Participates in testing and implementation of systems/applications.

What skills you will have for this role:

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience with COBOL, DB2, Command-Level CICS, JCL, Batch and TSO/ISPF.
• Experience with FIS (Systematics) software and functional knowledge of distributed application design and architecture
• Similar experience with SQL and IBM DB2 data base solutions.
• Familiarity with SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle.
• Strong technical coding skills with a proven track record of adherence to process.
• Serena ChangeMan ZMF source packaging/management tool experience.
