Job Description
Technical Expertise:
In-depth experience with Cisco Meraki, FortiGate or Checkpoint or Cisco firewall.
Strong expertise in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and Cisco Nexus series switches.
Proficiency in SD-WAN technologies, including advanced routing and policy configurations.
Advanced knowledge of load balancers like NetScaler, including traffic steering and SSL offloading.
In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and security policy enforcement.
Handle escalations and advanced troubleshooting that goes beyond routine issues.
Take ownership of critical incidents and lead their resolution.
Contribute to network design and improvement discussions.
Mentor and upskill junior team members.
Ensure systems are compliant with the latest security standards and best practices.
Tools and Platforms:
Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
Familiarity with firewall management systems (e.g., Forti Manager, Cisco FMC, ASDM) and SD-WAN controllers.
Certifications (Preferred):
CCNP, Fortinet NSE 5 or above or equivalent.
NetScaler certifications are an added advantage.
