Part-Time Operations Manager — Two London Salons
**Elite Hair Lounge Lewisham & Stockwell** **£20–£22 per hour 24 hours across three days per week**We’re looking for an experienced, proactive Operations Manager to oversee our two salons, support our branch managers and improve business performance.
You’ll take ownership of operations and recruitment, build practical systems and help both branches run efficiently without relying on the founder for everyday decisions.
This is a dedicated management role. You won’t be expected to do hair, and a hairdressing qualification is not required.
What you’ll do
- Support and hold branch managers accountable, setting priorities and following up on actions.
- Own recruitment and onboarding, including adverts, screening, interviews and coordinating practical assessments.
- Oversee rotas, absence cover and accurate payroll preparation.
- Manage stock, suppliers and purchasing within agreed budgets.
- Monitor bookings, rebooking, retail sales and staffing costs, taking action to improve performance.
- Maintain consistent client service and salon standards.
- Implement practical systems and provide a concise weekly update to the founder.
What we’re looking for
- Experience managing operations and teams, ideally across multiple locations.
- A background in salons, beauty, aesthetics, hospitality or another service-led business.
- Confidence recruiting staff, managing performance and working with budgets.
- Strong organisation, initiative and independent problem-solving.
- Confidence with spreadsheets and booking systems; Zenoti experience is a bonus.
Working arrangements
24 hours across three agreed days, with regular attendance at both Lewisham and Stockwell. Priorities and decision-making authority will be clearly agreed with the founder.
