Client Operations & Strategic Growth Manager

I’m delighted to be partnering with a leading international law firm on the search for a Client Operations & Strategic Growth Manager to support one of the firm’s most significant global client relationships.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded client development, operations or project management professional who enjoys combining relationship management with data-driven decision making. Sitting at the heart of a major strategic account, you’ll play a key role in driving client growth, improving operational efficiency and delivering a first-class client experience.

What really sets this role apart is the level of analytical and strategic work involved. You’ll be responsible for analysing client and matter data, monitoring complex budgets and fee arrangements, tracking performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities, and producing insights that help shape both client strategy and business decisions. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with data and turning analysis into meaningful commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a major global client relationship and acting as a central point of contact across the firm.
• Developing and driving strategic client plans alongside senior stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities for revenue growth and deeper client engagement.
• Analysing client, matter and financial data to provide actionable business insights.
• Monitoring budgets, forecasting spend and tracking performance across multiple matters.
• Overseeing billing compliance, outside counsel guidelines and fee arrangements.
• Producing reporting and analysis to support strategic decision making and client service excellence.
• Supporting high-profile pitches, panel reviews and client growth initiatives.
• Coordinating client meetings, events, feedback programmes and relationship-building activities.
• Working closely with legal, finance and business services teams to improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Managing AI-related client commitments, reporting and compliance requirements.
• Driving continuous improvement across client operations, pricing and account management activities.

The successful candidate is likely to bring experience from a legal or professional services environment, with strong client management, project management or operations expertise. Advanced analytical skills, confidence working with financial data and reporting, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders will be key to success.
