Location: 100% Remote (Client Based in San Francisco, CA)** Duration: Long-Term Contract Need Healthcare/Pharma Domain exp Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead the modernization of enterprise clinical and laboratory software platforms for a global pharmaceutical client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies, React, AWS Cloud, Azure, SQL Server, and enterprise application architecture with experience modernizing legacy applications into scalable cloud-native solutions.

The architect will migrate legacy AngularJS and .NET applications to modern React-based architectures, design AWS target-state solutions, and integrate enterprise healthcare systems, including HL7, FHIR, and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). Experience working within regulated healthcare or life sciences environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and modernization of enterprise clinical applications from legacy technologies to cloud-native platforms.
• Design scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise solutions using AWS services.
• Architect migration strategies for AngularJS applications to React with minimal business disruption.
• Modernize legacy .NET Framework applications while supporting coexistence of existing platforms.
• Design enterprise integration solutions for laboratory and healthcare applications using HL7, ASTM, and FHIR.
• Build secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using Azure Active Directory, MSAL, OAuth2, JWT, and Windows Authentication.
• Develop enterprise CI/CD strategies supporting multiple .NET and Node.js applications.
• Design high-performance SQL Server databases and optimize stored procedures for enterprise workloads.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to define enterprise technology roadmaps.
• Ensure all applications comply with healthcare security and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Solution Architect or Principal Engineer.
• Experience working within Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Healthcare, or Industrial IoT environments.
• Strong experience with enterprise application modernization initiatives.
