Description

CMC Development And Construction is seeking a Software Developer to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This full-time, fully remote position offers an entry-level opportunity to build software solutions that support our operations within the staffing and recruiting industry.

As a Software Developer, you will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining applications and internal tools that streamline recruiting workflows, candidate management, and client engagement. You will work closely with experienced team members to learn best practices while delivering reliable, user-focused software.

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $30 to $35 per hour (USD), along with the flexibility of a remote work environment and strong opportunities for professional growth in the software development field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web and software applications supporting recruiting and staffing operations
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
  • Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
  • Assist in testing, debugging, and resolving software issues
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality
  • Support the integration of third-party tools and APIs used in recruiting workflows
  • Contribute to documentation of software features, processes, and system architecture
  • Continuously learn new technologies and development practices to grow technical skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or Java
  • Understanding of basic software development principles, including version control with Git
  • Familiarity with databases and basic SQL concepts
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and work independently in a remote setting
  • Preferred: Exposure to web frameworks, cloud platforms, or applicant tracking system integrations
