Job Description
SSG Events is a fast-growing media and events company building AI-powered content and intelligence platforms across multiple industries.
We are looking for an AI Engineer to take ownership of the systems, infrastructure, and automation behind our AI-driven content workflows. This is a hands-on role for someone who has built and operated production AI systems and enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain production-grade AI and LLM-powered workflows
- Design systems for data ingestion, processing, classification, ranking, and summarization
- Develop workflow orchestration using LangGraph, Temporal, LangChain, or similar frameworks
- Integrate data from APIs, RSS feeds, websites, and other structured and unstructured sources
- Improve reliability through monitoring, observability, retries, and failure recovery
- Optimize AI performance, latency, quality, and operating costs
- Deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure and automation pipelines
- Work closely with leadership to continuously improve and scale the platform
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience building and operating LLM-based systems in production
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar AI platforms
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with APIs, workflow automation, and data pipelines
- Ability to independently own projects from architecture to deployment
Preferred
- Experience with RAG, vector databases, and retrieval systems
- Experience with AI evaluation and monitoring frameworks
- Experience in media, publishing, search, recommendation, or content platforms
- Startup experience with high ownership and fast execution
Compensation
- Fixed monthly salary + performance bonus
- Performance-based salary progression:
- Month 1: AED 4,000–5,000
- Month 2: AED 5,000–6,000
- Month 3: AED 6,000–7,000
- Additional growth opportunities based on performance and contribution
