Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect – AI Automation to design and govern a scalable, secure, Azure-based application platform for intelligent document processing, workflow automation, validation, and high-volume transaction processing.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise/application architecture, Python-based transaction processing systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, and AI implementation . This role focuses on application and solution architecture rather than infrastructure or cloud-only architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise and application architecture, target-state designs, reusable patterns, and technology standards.
• Architect scalable, high-volume transaction processing systems using Python.
• Design cloud-native applications and microservices on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop API-led integrations, event-driven workflows, and asynchronous messaging patterns.
• Define architecture for intelligent document processing, AI-enabled validation, workflow orchestration, and downstream system integration.
• Establish architecture standards for security, identity and access, auditability, scalability, performance, resilience, and disaster recovery.
• Guide engineering teams on architecture decisions, technical trade-offs, design reviews, and implementation standards.
• Collaborate with business, product, engineering, security, and governance teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Create architecture documentation, design decisions, and technical standards for enterprise-wide adoption.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience.
• Proven experience architecting high-volume transaction processing applications using Python .
• Strong application architecture experience with microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on architectural experience with Microsoft Azure application and integration services, such as Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, and API Management.
• Experience with AI implementation and architecture, preferably AI-enabled document processing or intelligent automation.
• Strong understanding of workflow orchestration, data architecture, system integration, security, and production resilience.
• Experience in enterprise-scale application design, technical governance, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and architectural decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence, OCR, and intelligent document processing pipelines.
• Experience designing secure, regulated, high-volume business applications.
• Knowledge of Azure data services, including Cosmos DB and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and production governance.
• Relevant Azure or architecture certifications.
