International Sales Manager – Africa

We’re partnering with a leading, family-owned consumer healthcare business with a portfolio of globally recognised brands, as they look to appoint an International Sales Manager to support their next phase of international growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of international distributor relationships, develop new markets and play a key role in shaping the business’s expansion strategy.

Joining an expanding international sales team, you’ll be responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth across African markets, developing existing distribution partnerships while identifying opportunities for further market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop key international territories, with a particular focus on Africa.
• Build strong relationships with existing distributors to maximise sales performance and market penetration.
• Identify new market opportunities, negotiate commercial agreements and appoint new distribution partners.
• Develop and execute territory growth strategies, joint business plans and market expansion initiatives.
• Drive revenue and margin growth through effective distributor management and commercial planning.
• Collaborate with marketing, regulatory and supply chain teams to support successful product launches and market development.
• Take ownership of sales forecasting, commercial targets and territory performance.

About You

• Proven experience in international sales, export management or distributor-led commercial roles.
• Strong experience operating across African markets, ideally with additional international or European exposure.
• Background within FMCG, consumer healthcare, wellness, beauty, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals or similar regulated consumer products.
• Experience managing and developing international distributor networks.
• Demonstrable track record of delivering revenue growth and developing new market opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and stakeholder management experience.
• A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to work autonomously and adapt within a growing business.
