Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Java AI Engineer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern AI-assisted development tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot and Claude to accelerate software development, improve code quality, and explore Agentic AI and AI Agent development.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing scalable Java applications while leveraging AI-powered tools and techniques to improve engineering productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure reliable communication between services.
  • Utilize GitHub Copilot and Claude for AI-assisted coding, debugging, refactoring, and code optimization.
  • Explore and implement Agentic AI solutions and AI agents to automate workflows and improve application capabilities.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance developer productivity, accelerate development cycles, and improve code quality.
  • Perform unit testing, code validation, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Review AI-generated code for accuracy, security, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Follow best practices for version control, code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs.
  • Practical experience with GitHub Copilot and Claude for AI-assisted software development.
  • Understanding of Agentic AI concepts, AI agent development, and workflow automation.
  • Experience in AI-assisted coding, debugging, refactoring, and code optimization.
  • Proficiency in unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
  • Strong understanding of code validation, debugging techniques, and software engineering best practices.
  • Experience with Git or GitHub for version control.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
