Job Description
Description
We are looking for a curious, conscientious, and fast-learning Junior Software Engineer to join our growing, distributed team supporting a federal government client at Coforma.
As a Junior Software Engineer, you’ll write real production code early on, with support. You’ll pick up well-scoped tickets, pair with senior engineers, and grow into larger pieces of the system over time. We are not looking for someone who already knows our stack; we are looking for someone with solid programming fundamentals, genuine curiosity, and the habit of following a problem until they actually understand it.
We will teach you Dynamics, Azure Government, and the overall integration landscape. You need to bring the programming fundamentals and the willingness to learn.
If you’re passionate about improving lives through digital products and services, then Coforma is a great company for you.
$91,800 to $102,000 Annual Salary + Benefits + Growth Potential

- Tier 3 — $102,000.00: Highly experienced and can perform all responsibilities of the role at a higher level than expected once onboarding is completed.
To honor our company-wide equitable pay system, the posted salary range and corresponding tier salaries are non-negotiable.
You must be a full-time resident of the contiguous United States and legally authorized to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship to be considered for this role. A typical day would include the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Write, test, and ship well-scoped production code in C#/.NET, with guidance from senior engineers
- Write automated tests for your own work, and help grow the team’s test coverage
