AWS Cloud & AI Strategy Consultant

What you will be doing

• Define AI and cloud strategies for clients where AI creates business value, and what it takes to get there on AWS
• Build transformation roadmaps : phased, 12–36 month journeys across data, migration, modernization and AI use cases
• Own the economics — target-state costs, TCO and payback — so every recommendation survives CFO scrutiny
• Deliver executive-grade assessments and presentations that drive decisions
• Shape proposals and SOWs from your strategies, structured to unlock AWS partner funding
• Work directly with client CIOs and business leaders, alongside our architects and GTM team
• Evolve our strategy playbook — frameworks, calculators and templates — with every engagement

What you bring

• 3–6 years in consulting, pre-sales, strategy or analytics roles in IT services, cloud or SaaS — you have shaped how clients make technology decisions, not just documented them
• Cloud fluency: working knowledge of foundational AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, VPC) and cloud economics (Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, right-sizing) — enough to reason about what a target state should look like and what it will cost
• AI curiosity with substance: you follow how organizations are adopting generative AI, agents and data platforms, and can connect those to a client’s business outcomes and their AWS stack
• Storytelling with data: exceptional written English and presentation skills; you turn complex technical and commercial inputs into executive summaries, roadmaps and visuals that leadership acts on
• Comfort with ambiguity: you take incomplete client data and produce a defensible point of view, with every assumption stated upfront
• Numerical rigour: you reconcile totals, pressure-test your own models and never let a number leave without a second look

• Hands-on time with the AWS Pricing Calculator or cloud cost estimation
• Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP)
• Exposure to AI/ML or data services on AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker, data lakes) or to building AI adoption roadmaps
