Photographer/Visual Designer | $60/hr | Remote

Photographers, Visual Designers & Image Quality Review Specialists. Remote Project

We are seeking experienced Photographers, Visual Designers, Photo Editors, Brand Specialists, and Visual Quality Reviewers to contribute to a remote project focused on evaluating image quality, visual consistency, and adherence to brand standards.

You will compare closely matched photographs, assess visual quality against defined criteria, and determine which images best meet specific creative and brand requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate pairs of photographs and select the image that best meets defined visual quality standards.
• Assess lighting, composition, focus, framing, color, exposure, sharpness, and overall image quality.
• Review images for adherence to provided brand style guides and visual standards.
• Identify subtle differences between closely matched photographs.
• Apply consistent criteria when making subjective visual decisions.
• Complete a remote calibration task to demonstrate your image evaluation skills.
• Participate in a brief onboarding process after successful completion of the calibration stage.
• Document or explain visual decisions when required.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across repeated image comparison tasks.

Requirements

• Professional experience in photography, graphic design, visual design, photo editing, branding, or a closely related visual field.
• Strong understanding of image quality, lighting, composition, focus, and framing.
• Ability to compare closely matched images and make confident visual decisions.
• Familiarity with brand guidelines or structured visual standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to apply rigid visual criteria across subjective media.
• Strong visual judgment and aesthetic awareness.
• Comfortable completing a remote calibration task.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Background

• Professional photography or commercial image production experience.
• Experience in photo editing, image selection, retouching, or visual quality review.
• Experience working with corporate, editorial, advertising, or e-commerce brand guidelines.
• Experience selecting final images from large photoshoots or image libraries.
• Experience performing creative QA, asset review, or visual compliance checks.
• Experience with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, or similar image tools.
• Experience working in branding, advertising, publishing, media, or creative production.
