Job Description

Role Description As an Industrial Agentic AI Intern, you will support the design, development, and evaluation of AI agents that interact with industrial data, tools, and workflows. On a day-to-day basis, you will help translate business or operational problems into well-defined AI tasks, assist in building and testing agentic workflows, and document experimental results and system behavior. You will collaborate on integrating APIs, data pipelines, and external tools so that AI agents can monitor, recommend, and automate actions within industrial processes. You will also research best practices in agentic AI, summarize technical papers, and prototype small proof-of-concept solutions. This is a remote role that offers flexible hours and is ideal for someone seeking hands-on experience in applied AI within an entrepreneurial, self-directed setting.

Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts (e.g., supervised learning, reinforcement learning, LLMs) and interest in agentic AI systems.
  • Basic programming skills in Python or a similar language, including use of common libraries for data handling and API integration.
  • Ability to work with structured and unstructured data, perform exploratory analysis, and interpret results to inform system design.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and curiosity about industrial applications such as manufacturing, logistics, or operations.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting experiments, creating simple technical summaries, and collaborating remotely.
  • Self-directed, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), basic cloud or notebook environments, and modern AI tooling is a plus.
