Spanish Speaking Medical Assistant (MA) – Full Time Remote Care Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Full-time Spanish speaking Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team as a remote care manager. In this role, you will engage with patients virtually to assess, coordinate, and monitor their health care needs—playing a vital part in our mission to enhance quality of life through proactive care management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct remote patient assessments with empathy and professionalism.
• Monitor patients’ health status and escalate warning signs appropriately.
• Apply medical terminology knowledge to assess and coordinate care.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families.
• Document thoroughly and accurately within multiple computer systems.
• Prioritize daily responsibilities while working independently.
• Provide excellence in patient care and customer service.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.

Qualifications:

• Have an Active Medical Assistant License
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical or patient-facing setting
• Minimum 3 years of experience in care management or case coordination
• Prior experience working remotely preferred
• Superior verbal communication and active listening skills
• High proficiency in medical terminology
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal abilities
• Ability to recognize clinical red flags and escalate care as needed
• Tech-savvy; able to work within multiple systems efficiently
• Must have a HIPAA-compliant, private work area at home

Education:

• Active Medical Assistant License (Required)

Experience:

• MA: 3 years (Required)

• Monday through Friday 8 AM - 5 PM (8 hours a day)

Pay:

• The pay range is $15-$24 per hour, depending on the candidate’s experience, relevant licenses, geographic location, and other applicable factors.
