Job Title: Audio System Software Engineer Embedded C++
Experience: 4+ Years of Relevant Experience
Location: Bangalore
Education: 15 years of full-time education required
Job Description:
- Design, develop, debug, and test audio system software for embedded platforms.
- Support audio subsystem bring-up during EVT/DVT/PVT phases.
- Perform issue triage, root cause analysis, and fix validation.
- Analyze audio logs, traces, and dumps to resolve issues across drivers, firmware, DSP, and OS layers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve audio system performance.
- Document design specifications, code changes, and testing procedures.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++.
- Knowledge of embedded systems, RTOS, and device drivers.
- Experience with Linux/Windows audio stacks and frameworks such as ALSA, SOF, or OpenMAX.
- Understanding of audio architectures, CODEC, DSP, AMP, I2S, TDM, PCM, and SoundWire.
- Hands-on debugging using CRO, logic analyzers, and Audio Precision tools.
- Knowledge of schematics, datasheets, CMake, and Makefiles.
