Hybrid Motion Designer // Editor

Ripple & Roll is a fast-moving boutique post-production studio based in Bloomsbury, London.

We’re expanding our network of freelance Motion Designers / Editors to work with us on commercials, branded content, learning, social reels and internal communications. You’ll help conceptualise, design, edit and animate high-quality 2D and 3D motion graphics across a wide range of projects.

We’re open to creatives at all levels of experience, but strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro is essential.

About the Role
Working alongside our animators, illustrators and editors, you’ll contribute to a variety of briefs and have opportunities to showcase and develop your motion design skills. Freelance bookings range from a single day to several months.

Responsibilities

• Concept development, storyboards and styleframes
• Editing
• Designing and animating assets for video
• Responding to feedback and proposing creative solutions

Requirements

• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
• A relevant qualification (Animation, Graphic Design, Video Production) or equivalent professional experience
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Experience working in a creative team, to client briefs and deadlines
• Confidence within a professional post-production workflow
• Based in the UK

Bonus: Houdini, Cinema 4D, Blender, Substance, Octane, Photoshop and Illustrator.

This role is primarily remote, though we have a studio in Bloomsbury and welcome in-person collaboration when possible.
