About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise UX Designer to design and improve complex digital applications within a large enterprise environment.

This role combines UX Design, Service Design, User Research, Business Analysis, and Implementation Support, with a strong focus on simplifying complex business processes and delivering intuitive, user-centred solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernise legacy applications, improve employee experiences, and support enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• UX Research & Strategy: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, identify user needs, and translate findings into actionable design solutions.
• Enterprise Application Design: Design intuitive mobile and desktop applications supporting complex business workflows.
• Service Design: Map user journeys, service blueprints, and end-to-end processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Interaction Design & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
• Design Systems: Apply, maintain, and enhance design systems to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, and end users.
• Legacy Modernisation: Lead UX activities for replacing legacy enterprise systems with modern digital applications.
• Implementation & Adoption: Support usability testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, rollout, and post-launch optimisation.
• Agile Delivery: Collaborate within SAFe, Agile, and Scrum environments to deliver iterative improvements.

Required Qualifications

• HBO/WO degree in UX Design, Industrial Design, Communication & Multimedia Design, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of enterprise UX design experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in user research, service design, and enterprise application design.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, prototyping, and design systems.
• Experience designing complex business applications and workflows.
• Proven involvement in enterprise system implementations, user training, and post-go-live support.
• Solid understanding of frontend technologies and developer collaboration.
• Experience working in SAFe, Agile, and Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects within complex organisations.
• Fluent Dutch communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing) are mandatory.

Initial Project Focus

1. Enterprise Application Implementation

Support the rollout of a standard enterprise application, focusing on usability testing, user guidance, training, adoption, and post-implementation support.

2. Legacy Application Modernisation

Drive user research, interaction design, prototyping, and usability validation for a new application replacing an existing legacy system.

Salaris: €2.800,00 - €5.900,00 per maand
