Staff FrontEnd Engineer - Platform - App Core Usage | US | Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Staff FrontEnd Engineer - Platform - App Core Usage to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will focus on building and evolving the core web experiences, backend services, and customer-facing workflows that support platform usage and billing-related operations. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable features that improve the customer experience while strengthening internal systems and processes. The position also calls for technical leadership in a remote-first environment, with an emphasis on mentorship, execution, and continuous improvement across distributed systems.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $174,986 – $209,983 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack web applications and customer portals
• Build and maintain backend APIs and user interfaces using modern technologies
• Integrate systems with external platforms like NetSuite and Salesforce
• Automate business logic for usage metering and billing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive features
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and enhance system observability
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members

Qualifications

• 1+ years of fully remote work experience
• Experience with large SaaS platforms and distributed systems challenges
• Strong backend skills in Golang and Node.js
• Proficient in frontend technologies like TypeScript and React
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects independently from concept to deployment
• Experience mentoring junior engineers in a remote setting
• Strong Kubernetes knowledge in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet)
