Legal AI Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Legal AI Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

This role sits at the intersection of legal practice, customer engagement, and AI-enabled solution design. You will help law firm clients identify high-value use cases, shape workflows, and translate complex legal processes into practical, scalable AI solutions. The role also partners closely with cross-functional teams to refine product strategy, capture customer needs, and improve how advanced legal technology is applied in real-world environments.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,100 – $185,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and solution demonstrations with law firm customers
• Support customers by scoping Legal AI use cases and advising on workflow design
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop Legal AI strategies for law firms
• Translate complex legal workflows into solution designs and prototypes
• Design and refine advanced Legal AI workflows integrating various technologies
• Document solution patterns and implementation considerations for future use
• Communicate customer needs to cross-functional partners to improve legal AI products

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school required
• Prior experience practicing law in a law firm or comparable setting
• Experience in customer-facing roles, particularly with enterprise accounts
• Familiarity with legal workflows such as due diligence and eDiscovery
• Demonstrable experience with generative AI applications
• Substantial experience using online legal research tools and related workflow systems
• Ability to learn and work hands-on with AI tools and complex solutions
