Job Description
LocaleLift coordinates translation and localization projects for businesses updating their websites, product guides, and customer communications.
We’re hiring a Localization Project Assistant to organize source files, track deadlines, and keep project information accurate. You don’t need to be a translator or speak multiple languages to perform this role.
Where you fit
A project manager confirms the scope. Translators and reviewers handle the language work. You help ensure that everyone receives the correct materials and that questions, revisions, and approvals stay organized.
You’ll check file packages, maintain schedules, and prepare completed materials for project manager review.
Your responsibilities
-
Confirm that source files match the approved project list.
-
Prepare assignments using established templates.
-
Track delivery dates and follow up on outstanding work.
-
Route translator questions to the appropriate client contact.
-
Maintain version records and organize approved reference materials.
-
Check delivered packages for missing files and naming inconsistencies.
-
Record client feedback and track requested revisions.
-
Flag delays or scope changes before making commitments.
Language accuracy is reviewed by qualified linguists. Pricing, supplier selection, and changes to delivery commitments require manager approval.
What we’re looking for
At least one year of experience in project support, administrative coordination, document management, or a related role.
You should be comfortable managing several deadlines, writing clear emails, and organizing digital files. Familiarity with spreadsheets and shared project tools is important.
Translation industry experience is helpful but not required. A college degree is not required. Training on our workflow and software is provided.
Working terms
-
Pay: $23–$27 per hour, based on relevant coordination experience.
-
Status: Full-time employee, with no commission component.
-
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern Time.
-
Paid hours: 40 per week, including a paid 30-minute meal break each day.
-
Location: Fully remote within Florida.
-
Travel: None.
We provide a company laptop, required software, and paid onboarding. Benefits include ten days of annual paid time off and company-observed paid holidays.
Reliable internet access and a workspace suitable for confidential client materials are required.
Application
Apply through Indeed with your resume. You may include a short example of how you coordinated files, feedback, or deadlines across several people.
Selected applicants will have an introductory phone conversation and a video interview with the Localization Project Manager.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Immigration sponsorship is not available. We assess candidates on job-related qualifications and provide reasonable accommodations throughout the hiring process.
