Instructional Designer – Evolve eLearning Development

Clarity Consultants is seeking an Instructional Designer with hands-on experience using the Evolve authoring tool to design and develop engaging eLearning focused on marketing topics. The consultant will partner with subject matter experts and client stakeholders to translate marketing concepts and source content into clear, interactive learning experiences that support practical application.

The ideal candidate combines strong instructional design, writing, and course development skills with the ability to manage feedback, maintain quality, and meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and organize source materials, identify content gaps, and develop course outlines, learning objectives, and storyboards as needed.
• Design and build eLearning modules in Evolve, incorporating relevant interactions, multimedia, practice activities, knowledge checks, and assessments.
• Translate marketing concepts into clear explanations, realistic examples, and scenarios that help learners apply what they have learned.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create effective, engaging learning experiences.
• Maintain consistency with client branding, writing standards, and course design guidelines, while incorporating usability and accessibility best practices.
• Coordinate review cycles, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and communicate progress, questions, and potential issues.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to verify content accuracy, functionality, navigation, and the overall learner experience before delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in instructional design and eLearning development.
• Hands-on proficiency with Evolve , including independently building and revising interactive eLearning courses.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, content organization, learning objectives, and assessment design.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts while preserving accuracy and meaning.
• Strong attention to visual design, consistency, usability, and detail.
• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage assigned deliverables, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing or developing training on marketing topics.
• Experience creating scenario-based learning that connects business concepts to practical decisions and tasks.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 wweks

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Virtual

The pay range for this is $55.00 to $60.00 per hour on a W2 basis. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
