Job Description
At Heart Mind Talent we’re supporting a fast-growing AI startup on the search for a Product Manager to join their team.
The company is building an AI-powered product helping millions of households manage and optimise their bills, combining agentic communication, GenAI data extraction, workflow orchestration, and recommendation systems.
This is not a traditional PM role, as you’ll lead a squad owning a few of the company’s service lines and grow them, working across both product and commercial: from what drives performance, to the suppliers and partners behind it, to the regulation the product operates in.
You’ll work closely with a small team of engineers and get hands-on yourself, using modern AI tools to prototype, query data, and ship changes quickly.
What you’ll do:
- Own commercial targets for your service lines, understand what really drives their performance, and lead the squad to deliver it
- Set the squad’s OKRs, roadmap and sequencing, and drive fast, efficient execution
- Evaluate what’s being shipped and own the reporting and the data behind it
- Work across product and commercial: suppliers, partners, pricing and regulation
- Run experiments, and unblock yourself on the analysis without always needing an analyst
What they’re looking for
- This role is ideal for someone who sits between product and commercial
- You might be a startup PM who has owned a number, a former founder or consultant who moved into product, or an engineer who moved into product and loves the commercial side
Key signals:
- A few years as a PM, ideally at a startup, owning a number such as revenue, conversion or retention
- Real commercial exposure: a P&L, supplier or partner relationships, pricing, or a whole service line
- Strong analytical skills, answering most of your own questions with data
- Experience in startup or fast-moving environments
Why this role is interesting
- Join a high-growth AI startup solving a massive consumer problem
- Own both the product and commercial results of real service lines
- High ownership in a team with very little middle management
- Small, ambitious team where everyone builds
- Competitive salary + meaningful equity
📍 This is a London-based, office-first role
