Job Summary

The Senior ERP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise ERP solutions within Oracle E-Business Suite environments. This role provides technical leadership for enhancements, integrations, customizations, reporting, and operational support initiatives across critical business functions. The Senior ERP Developer collaborates closely with business analysts, functional teams, DBAs, integration teams, and project managers to deliver scalable and reliable ERP solutions. Responsibilities include solution design, code development, performance optimization, root-cause analysis, deployment coordination, and mentoring junior developers. This role plays a key part in modernization initiatives involving Oracle Cloud technologies, automation, integration frameworks, and enterprise application transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical leader on complex software development projects, partnering closely with designers, analysts and other developers to create new programs and applications.
  • Serve as lead for significant components or entire projects, making critical technical recommendations that influence the team and collaborate with developers across other business lines.
  • Drive planning and execution of software development lifecycle for assigned projects.
  • Responsible for end-to-end design, implementation, testing and maintenance of sophisticated, scalable software products.
  • Write efficient and well-documented code according to specifications and create custom software solutions to optimize operations.
  • Lead efforts to perform software updates, testing and enhancement, ensuring the long-term health and functionality of the codebase.
  • Champion code standards and best practices.
  • Research emerging software development tools and techniques, applying this knowledge to enhance functionality and improve internal processes.

Required Skills

  • Oracle EBS R12 development experience — 5 years of hands-on development and support, ideally in R12.2 environments; experience with 12.2.12 is a strong fit
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL — able to build and support interfaces, conversions, reports, concurrent programs, and customizations; troubleshoot issues and tune performance
  • EBS technical fundamentals — experience with concurrent processing, Oracle APIs, and at least two relevant tools or frameworks such as Workflow, BI Publisher/XML Publisher, Oracle Reports, OAF, or APEX
  • Integration and production support — experience building or supporting integrations, diagnosing data and processing failures, and resolving issues across EBS and connected systems; REST/SOAP and file-based interfaces are useful examples
  • Cross-module EBS experience — meaningful hands-on experience in at least two or three areas, with working familiarity across others; priority modules include Projects (PA), Billing, Procurement/PO, AP, GL, AR, and HRMS; a strong candidate should be able to work across module boundaries, rather than know only one module deeply
  • Delivery and collaboration — can clarify requirements with functional teams, design supportable solutions, manage code changes and releases, and communicate progress and root causes

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with EBS R12.2.12 or a closely related R12.2 environment, including patching, online patching, or upgrade work
  • Experience with Procurement, HRMS or Payroll, especially alongside Financials or Projects
  • Experience across Projects and Financials, especially PA and Billing integrated with GL, AR, AP, or Procurement
  • OAF, APEX, Workflow, and AME experience, depending on the team’s current backlog
  • Integration experience with OIC, SOA Suite, Informatica, MuleSoft, or similar middleware
  • Git, CI/CD, automated deployments, release management, and Agile delivery
  • Fusion or hybrid EBS/Fusion experience; Oracle certifications
  • Technical leadership,…
