Our client is an Australian healthcare technology company. They provide digital solutions that help hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals streamline clinical workflows and improve communication across healthcare networks. Their platform helps healthcare providers move from paper-based processes to secure, efficient digital systems.

About the Role
We’re looking for a talented UI/UX Designer with strong Figma experience to design intuitive digital health solutions used by hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.

You’ll turn complex clinical workflows into simple, clear user experiences, working closely with developers, product and implementation teams, and healthcare users. You’ll join an established team and receive training on the company’s products, users, and design processes.

What You’ll Do

Design & Prototyping

• Design user interfaces and user flows for web-based digital health applications
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma
• Turn complex clinical workflows into simple, intuitive designs
• Keep designs consistent, accessible, and responsive across devices

User Research & Usability

• Gather feedback from clinicians, administrators, and healthcare users
• Run user research and usability testing to validate and refine designs
• Identify pain points and opportunities to improve the user experience

Collaboration

• Hand off designs to developers and support accurate implementation
• Map new features and workflows with product and implementation teams in Figma and Miro
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
• Help test new features for functionality and usability

Design Systems & Documentation

• Build and maintain the design system and component library in Figma
• Document design decisions, specs, and user flows for developers

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role
• Extensive hands-on Figma experience, including components, auto layout, variants, prototyping, and design systems
• A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work for web apps or SaaS products
• Solid understanding of user-centred design, information architecture, and interaction design
• Experience with user research and usability testing
• Ability to simplify complex workflows into clear interfaces
• Experience working closely with developers on design handoff
• Strong communication skills and excellent spoken and written English
• Available to start immediately

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for healthcare, digital health, or clinical software
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
• Experience with Miro, Jira, or agile workflows
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
• Experience working with Australian or international clients
