About the Opportunity

Our client is an established, growing digital marketing agency seeking a highly organized, client-focused Digital Project Manager to oversee website development projects and ongoing website support.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, fully remote team where you’ll take ownership of website projects from kickoff through launch, coordinate with designers and developers, and serve as a trusted point of contact for clients.

We’re looking for someone who understands how agency website projects work, is comfortable navigating WordPress, and enjoys keeping people, priorities, and deliverables organized.

What You’ll Do

• Manage website design and development projects from kickoff through launch, coordinating timelines, milestones, deliverables, and client approvals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, managing expectations, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Build and maintain project plans, task assignments, and timelines using Asana or similar project management tools.
• Coordinate with designers and developers to keep projects moving and resolve roadblocks.
• Manage ongoing WordPress website support and maintenance requests for existing clients.
• Translate client requests into clear, actionable tasks for the development team.
• Monitor support queues, project scope, hours, deadlines, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Perform quality assurance (QA) reviews to ensure website updates and deliverables meet requirements.
• Identify potential delays, scope changes, or budget concerns and communicate proactively.
• Help improve internal workflows, documentation, and project management processes.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of digital project management experience in an agency environment , ideally involving website design, development, or ongoing website support.
• Working knowledge of WordPress , including content management, website administration, and basic quality assurance.
• Experience with Asana or comparable project management software.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and client requests simultaneously.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a fully remote team.

You do not need to be a developer or know how to code, but you should be comfortable working with website development teams and understanding the work they’re doing.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with website hosting, maintenance, plugins, and common WordPress issues.
• Experience tracking project budgets, hours, scope, and client service agreements.
• Understanding of digital marketing concepts such as SEO, paid media, and lead generation.
• Experience managing ongoing website support requests alongside larger development projects.
