About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a technology-driven organisation on an initial 6-month freelance contract.

You will work on the development and enhancement of internal business applications, helping to streamline data flows, automate processes and improve operational efficiency.

This is a hands-on development role offering the opportunity to contribute to technical decisions, work with modern technologies and collaborate with an international engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications using PHP, Symfony, React and TypeScript.
• Build and enhance backend services, APIs and database integrations.
• Develop solutions that automate business processes and improve data management.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver reliable software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement.
• Use modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding solutions where appropriate.

Essential Requirements

• Strong commercial development experience with PHP and Symfony .
• Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript .
• Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs.
• Understanding of software testing, clean coding practices and Agile development.
• Ability to work independently within a fully remote team.
• Relevant right to work in the EU and ability to operate as a freelancer/ contractor.

Desirable Skills

• Docker and CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitLab).
• AWS cloud services and Terraform.
• Microservices architecture.
• Automated testing, including unit and integration testing.
• Experience with Go.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Cursor or other AI development tools.
