Job Description
• $90–$130 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the transaction judgment you already have.
The AI systems everyone talks about are trained and tested by real legal experts. The teams building them need M&A lawyers who can create realistic negotiation and contract-review scenarios, judge how accurately the AI handles them, write the answer a lawyer would give, and explain exactly where its legal judgment falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of legal AI models. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Create simulated M&A negotiations and redlining exercises for asset purchase agreements and stock purchase agreements
• Review AI-generated legal responses for accuracy and missed risks
• Write clear legal answers and contract-review guidance for complex transaction scenarios
• Set objective grading criteria that show where an AI response falls short on legal judgment
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid the equivalent of $90–$130 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most M&A lawyers will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal work, and the lawyers who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• At least two years in the M&A department of a corporate law firm, with fluent English
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $90–$130 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
