The teams building them need data scientists who can create realistic, difficult problems, judge how well the AI handles them, write the answer a data science professional would give, and explain exactly where the AI’s methods or reasoning fall short. Your judgment becomes part of how the next generation of AI models produces more accurate and reliable results. This is that work, done remotely, around your current job.
What you’ll do
• Create expert prompts and datasets for statistics and machine learning problems
• Review AI answers to data science and experimentation problems, separating correct, incomplete and methodologically unsound approaches
• Write reference solutions using sound statistical and quantitative practice
• Explain flawed methods and weaknesses in quantitative reasoning through structured feedback

Who this is for
• At least one year of professional experience at a leading company in technology, finance or research, including recent experience within the past seven years
• An undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university is preferred
• Strong knowledge of data science, statistics, machine learning, experimentation and quantitative reasoning, with clear written and professional communication in English and the ability to work independently
• No experience in AI training work needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.

• $245–$280 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
