Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the contract expertise you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real legal experts. The teams building them need technology transactions attorneys to review source materials, judge AI-generated contract responses, write clear feedback, and explain exactly why a response meets or misses the project guidelines. Your legal judgment helps shape the next generation of AI systems handling specialized work. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Review technology transaction contracts and AI-generated responses against project guidelines
• Evaluate model outputs using project rubrics and record evidence-based judgments
• Explain your decisions in clear written feedback so the team can improve model behavior
• Maintain consistent quality across repeated contract review tasks
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid the equivalent of $90–$130 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most technology transactions attorneys will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal work, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• At least 3 years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions
• Experience negotiating technology agreements such as MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs or derivatives agreements
• Fluent English with exceptional written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical ability
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $90–$130 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• About 20 hours a week, you choose when; fully remote, United States
