Job Description
• $80–$125 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of medical AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the clinical judgment you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real medical professionals. The teams building them need internal medicine physicians who can work through difficult inpatient cases, judge whether an AI’s clinical claims match the medical record, write the answer a physician would give, and explain exactly where the AI’s reasoning falls short. Your clinical judgment becomes part of how the next generation of medical AI models works. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Review adult inpatient records, clinical notes and structured medical-record data for documentation quality
• Check clinical claims against the underlying record, including the history, assessment and care plan
• Evaluate medication reconciliation and kidney- and liver-adjusted dosing
• Identify missing or inconsistent details and provide structured feedback on where the model’s reasoning departs from the record
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $80–$125 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier medical AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most internal medicine physicians will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping inpatient medicine, and the physicians who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine
• Has worked as a hospitalist for at least five years, with inpatient hospitalist work that is current or recent and falls in the past two years
• Professional fluency in English and strong working knowledge of daily progress notes, inpatient admissions, discharge workflows and transitions of care
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $80–$125 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
