Job Description
• $45–$65 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Under 20 hours a week, you choose when
Work on the cutting edge of AI coding systems, on your own schedule, and get paid for the problem-solving expertise you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real experts. The teams building them need competitive programmers who can create difficult, original coding problems, judge how well AI submissions solve them, write the reference solutions and tests a professional would use, and explain exactly where the AI falls short. Your judgment becomes part of how the next generation of coding systems works. This is that work, done remotely around your current schedule.
What you’ll do
• Create original competitive programming challenges with clear requirements and demanding constraints
• Build comprehensive test suites around reference solutions to assess AI submissions
• For problems with multiple valid outputs, build robust C++ checkers that reliably validate submissions
• Review submissions against the requirements and explain unclear cases or technical failures
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid the equivalent of $45–$65 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current work
• Work directly with frontier AI coding tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most competitive programmers will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping software engineering and technical problem solving, and the people who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• Bring strong expertise in analyzing coding problems through competitive programming
• Advanced C++ proficiency for developing robust checkers and high-quality code
• Fluent in English, able to communicate clearly in writing and speech, meticulous about details, and comfortable working independently from a remote setting
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $45–$65 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• Under 20 hours a week, you choose when; fully remote, United States
