Job Description
• $80–$125 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the clinical judgment you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real clinical experts. The teams building them need family medicine hospitalists to examine realistic inpatient records, decide whether the clinical statements align with the chart, write findings a clinician would stand behind, and point out gaps, errors, or contradictions. The work includes structured FHIR information, a standard format for exchanging health data, as well as clinical notes and other medical records. Your judgment helps shape how the next generation of AI models works. You do this remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Compare structured FHIR records and clinical notes with the underlying chart, following written review standards
• Decide whether statements in a clinical record are backed by the chart
• Assess the history of present illness and clinical assessments in inpatient documentation
• Flag gaps, errors, and contradictions in admission and discharge records
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $80–$125 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most family medicine hospitalists will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping family medicine and hospital medicine, and the clinicians who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• Be an MD or DO with Family Medicine board certification and, where applicable, a Hospital Medicine focus or certification
• Have practiced as a hospitalist for at least five years and worked in inpatient or hospitalist care during the last two years
• Bring professional fluency in English, a strong grasp of inpatient workflows, and comfort reviewing clinical notes, raw medical records, and FHIR data
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $80–$125 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Minimum weekly task submission requirements apply; fully remote, United States
