What you’ll do

• Work through questions involving replicated random-bond Ising and Ashkin-Teller models, including problems about the Nishimori line

• Produce well-documented solutions or detailed critiques, applying Kramers-Wannier duality and quenched disorder averaging

• Use numerical simulations to study domain-wall free energy in the 4-state Potts model, then interpret the results

• Review and adjudicate technical work on the toric-code threshold and noncontractible loop defects
