Role Description The Senior Network Administrator is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructure for Clear InfoSec and its clients. This role involves monitoring network performance, managing configurations, and ensuring high availability of critical systems. The Senior Network Administrator will perform advanced troubleshooting, coordinate incident response for network-related issues, and collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce network security controls. Day-to-day tasks include managing firewalls, VPNs, and routing, performing regular audits and updates, creating documentation and network diagrams, and providing technical guidance to junior team members. The role also requires close communication with internal stakeholders and clients to support projects, assess network requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement of network and security practices.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Network Administration and Network Security, including experience with routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and secure network design.
• Advanced Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose complex issues, resolve incidents, and provide clear guidance to users and technical teams.
• System Administration skills, including managing servers, operating systems, and related infrastructure components in secure environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure stable and scalable network operations.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or equivalent are highly beneficial.
• Experience working in cybersecurity-focused environments or with ISO 27001 or similar standards is a plus.
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
