Kalavya Atelier is looking for an experienced Freelance Lighting Designer to collaborate with us on upcoming interior design projects. We are seeking professionals with a strong understanding of lighting design who can create thoughtful, functional, and aesthetically refined lighting solutions for residential and commercial interiors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop lighting layouts and lighting design concepts for interior projects.

  • Select suitable lighting fixtures based on the design concept, functionality, and spatial requirements.

  • Plan ambient, task, and accent lighting to enhance the overall design.

  • Coordinate lighting placement with interior layouts, furniture, materials, and architectural elements.

  • Recommend appropriate lighting fixtures, colour temperatures, and lighting effects.

  • Provide detailed lighting drawings, layouts, and other relevant design deliverables as required.

  • Ensure that lighting solutions are both practical and visually appealing.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Only candidates with prior experience in lighting design are eligible to apply.

  • Applicants must have previously worked on actual lighting design projects.

  • A portfolio showcasing previous lighting design work is mandatory.

  • Strong knowledge of lighting layouts, fixtures, and lighting applications is essential.

  • Candidates should be capable of working independently in a remote freelance role.

Freshers and candidates without previous lighting design experience should not apply.
