Project Manager (Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect)

Job Summary We are seeking a high-performing Senior Salesforce Developer / Architect to join a mission-critical web application development team. In this role, you will lead hands-on platform enhancements, custom integrations, and architectural decisions spanning Salesforce CRM, Knowledge Management, and Public Portals. You will play a key role in translating client needs into secure, scalable technical solutions within a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
• Develop REST APIs and custom web services to integrate Salesforce with core back-office systems.
• Configure Salesforce objects, custom fields, page layouts, flows, and validation rules following platform best practices.
• Lead peer code reviews, assist with automated and manual testing, and deliver system documentation.
• Provide post-deployment support and knowledge transfer to operational teams.

Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

8+ years of progressive hands-on Salesforce technical development and architectural experience.

Active Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, App Builder, and Administrator.

Proven expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and API integration development.

Must reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications Expertise in web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) and the Salesforce Lightning Design System.

Background supporting federal or public sector digital transformation programs.

Demonstrated experience handling complex data migrations and enterprise integrations.
